Tessa Garcia is feeling low after reflecting on just how much her failed marriage has affected her entire life. But Gabe Davis is a welcome blast from the past to change all that. Can she let go of the pain of her past in time to ensure that their new life together would work out fine?
Gabe is pleasantly surprised that his one night with Tessa has brought on a compelling desire to stay close to her. He sees his future with her clearly, but isn’t sure that she does. Determined to make her realise that things between them despite their unorthodox circumstances, will his eagerness drive her away instead of straight into his arms?
This is a good, light and comfortable read. Tessa faces a lot of the challenges that modern women face when they decide that they want the best of both worlds. The author did a great job of capturing each partner’s fears as well as their chemistry in a charged, fast-paced environment.
Fans of surprise baby/accidental pregnancy romance tropes will enjoy this read. I recommend it.
