This is the first book in the Bachelors of the Ridge series I’ve read, but I intend to read the others, and more of Karla Sorensen’s work, too.
Tristan has been so accustomed to loving Anna from afar, that now he realises she’s single and available, he’s unsure what route to take to make her realise the depth of his feelings for her without scaring her off.
Anna has been shut off from a lot of emotions during her marriage. The feelings she experiences around Tristan are new, and sort of frightening, but comfortable all at the same time. Are these feelings what great friendships are built on, or can there be more between them? Does Tristan even find her attractive enough to ask her out?
If I could rate this book higher, I would. It is such a beautiful story. Instead of a couple’s journey from heart-stopping chemistry & blinding lust to a deep, meaningful loving relationship, we get a completely unorthodox – yet no less moving – story.
I recommend this story. It is such a perfect example of true, unconditional, long-lasting love. Not many authors get it right, but this book? Karla Sorensen nails it down, 100/100.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.

“I devoured this book in one sitting. Karla hit every emotion imaginable. I got mad, I laughed, I cried, my heart ached, and by the end, it was filled with joy. Tristan’s story is the perfect ending to an incredible series.” – Author Kathryn Andrews
